Today I thought I would cover another topic that we get questions about on a regular basis- The difference between Sisal and Seagrass?
It is easy to forget when you have been working with a product for a long time, that not everyone know's what Sisal or Seagrass is. So about time I went fully back to basics and covered the difference between the two! Even down to the pronunciation, as we do hear some funny nicknames for the floor coverings!
So often customers come to us and are unsure whether to purchase fully fitted flooring for their room or to go with a made to measure rug. With this in mind I thought I would summarise some of the great advantages of going for the rug option.

Sisal and all the other Natural fibre floor coverings are very absorbent and under no circumstances should they be wet shampooed or wet cleaned.
As with conventional floor coverings in order to keep Sisal looking at its best it needs regular attention. A light clean with a suction vacuum cleaner at least once a week will remove surface dirt before it becomes embedded in the fibres. Always avoid vacuum cleaners with a beater bar as this can cause some damage to the surface of the Sisal.
