Wool is one of the easiest materials to care for. If treated well it is resilient and capable of lasting a lifetime.

 

On Unpacking

• Remove straight away and allow to air in room with good circulation.
• Shake loose any stray fibres.
• Any creasing to the backing will fall out naturally as the rug relaxes after unwrapping.

 

Daily Care

• Air and Shake Regularly

 

Stain Removal

• Blot stains with a white cloth and cold water straight away.
• Do not use stain removal sprays or detergents that are not wool-safe.

 

To Revitalise

It is occasionally helpful to revitalise the wool fibres using a stiff brush. Be gentle, but firm in your motions.

 

To Clean

• Our Sheepskin Pads can be machine washed up to 30°C
• If machine washing, select a low spin cycle and do not tumble dry.
• It is always preferableto hand wash with cool or tepid water for maximum life from your sheepskin.
• Only use wool-approved soaps and cleaning products.
• Agitate gently and then rinse thoroughly.
• Once washed, squeeze out excess water, reshape and then allow to dry flat. Hanging will put stress on the skin and cause damage over time.
