General Care

Looking after your coir mat is simple. For everyday cleaning, just lift the mat from the entrance well, take it outside, and give it a firm shake to remove dust and loose debris. To dislodge stubborn particles, hold the mat upright and brush or rub the surface fibres by hand. Before replacing the mat, vacuum the recess to keep the area clean and ensure the mat sits flush with the well edges.

Stubborn Dirt & Stains

For more challenging dirt such as wet mud, paint, or oil, rinse the mat using the jet setting on a standard garden hose. For the best results, pair this with our specialist Coir Stain Removal & Cleaning Kit. Designed specifically for natural fibres, the kit includes:

• A cleaning solution for general refresh
• A spot cleaner for targeted stain removal
• A durable brush and cloth for easy application

This ensures your coir mat not only stays clean but also lasts longer, keeping your entranceway fresh and welcoming.
