Running a business demands a great deal of time and attention, sometimes we can lose track of simply remembering to update people about the projects we're working on. We're a family-run business that has been crafting exceptional bespoke rugs and runners in the UK now for 15+ years, but we're eager to keep pushing ourselves and take hold of opportunities to enhance and diversify what we can offer our loyal customers.

An Exciting New Chapter: Welcome to Our Etsy Store!
We are incredibly excited to announce the launch of TheNaturalRugCompany on Etsy UK! This move allows us to reach even more homes across the UK and beyond, bringing our handcrafted luxury to a wider audience.

Our Sheepskin Rugs are a cosy new arrival, offering nature's answer to comfort and style. Each rug in this collection is 100% natural and ethically obtained, ensuring a plush texture and rich, organic hues that bring timeless elegance and warmth to any space. We carefully hand-pick each genuine wool hide, which means every sheepskin fleece is unique in its colour and texture. You can trust in their superior quality as all our natural sheepskins are Woolmark Certified.
Beyond their undeniable softness, these rugs are breathable, temperature-regulating, and hypoallergenic, making them a practical choice year-round. They are incredibly versatile, perfect for adding cosiness to an armchair, laying at the foot of your bed, or even as a snug throw for nursery rockers. I've used them for weeks in the office as a plush and indulgent chair pad.
Available in a range of gentle colours like Champagne, Dove Grey, Caramel, Chocolate, and Vole, (with lots more to be added in the coming months) they are designed to pair beautifully with existing decor. For lasting beauty, they are machine washable up to 30°C on a low spin cycle, or ideally, hand washed with wool-approved soaps.

The new weaves of the Divine Sisal range bring a refreshing feeling of real nature into your home. The Divine Dawn Husk Sisal Rug with Vanilla & Pebble Border exemplifies this collection (pictured below), shaped from 100% tough Sisal fibre interlocked in a rustic weave. This style acts as a soothing antidote to life in the concrete jungle. It features a beautiful Linen Twill Vanilla Outer Border and a Wool Felt Marl Pebble Inner Border. The vanilla border is a popular creamy white choice, and the felted wool inner border offers exquisite texture in a pale browny-grey, inspired by riverbed pebbles.
These rugs are ideal for Living Rooms, Dining Rooms, Hallways, Bedrooms, and Offices, and even suitable for stairs as a runner. With a robust heavy domestic wear rating and a pile height of 9mm, they offer resilient simplicity and are suitable for underfloor heating.

We continue to provide an outstanding range of Outdoor Rugs, designed for patios and decks but versatile enough for various spaces. These faux sisal rugs are woven from Polypropylene, a tough man-made fibre known for its practicality. This material is water-resistant, bleach cleanable (diluted to 10%), and incredibly easy to wipe up spills. They also feature enhanced UV protection to withstand the elements.
Our outdoor rugs are suitable for indoor, outdoor, and wet room use, making them perfect for Patios, Conservatories, and Bathrooms, in addition to Living Rooms and Bedrooms.
